I was Production Coordinator and Video Assistant for Schaubühne’s Schatten (Eurydike sagt), a re-imagining of the Orpheus myth by Elfriede Jelinek and directed by Katie Mitchell. The production tells the story from Eurydike’s perspective, blending live theatre and real-time video projection to create a layered, “third art form” experience. Set in a claustrophobic, industrial underground world with tunnels, elevators, monitors, and even a vintage VW Käfer, the staging emphasizes Eurydike’s psychological journey while exploring themes of memory, identity, and agency. My role involved coordinating rehearsals, managing schedules, and overseeing logistical operations to ensure the production ran smoothly.
