Grimm Sisters is a fairy tale comedy based on the collected works of the Brothers Grimm. The Thesmophoria Theatre Collective wants to recapture the dark, androcratic Grimm's fairy tales as a feminist empowering comedy and perform "Grimm Sisters" as outdoor theatre in parks, gardens and at theatre festivals.
Seven female characters from the collected tales of the Brothers Grimm find themselves exiled for not fitting into the narratives of their own stories.
