HOLLY BARNARD


Alongside my moving image practice, I compose and design sound for theatre, performance, film, and installation.

Working collaboratively with directors, performers, and creative teams, I develop immersive soundscapes that support narrative, atmosphere, and spatial experience.

My work combines field recordings, archival audio, synthesis, voice, and digital processing to create compositions that respond to the conceptual and emotional language of each project. From contemporary theatre productions and multimedia installations to experimental films, I approach sound as an integral part of storytelling.

Selected collaborations include English Theatre Berlin, Ballhaus Prinzenallee, Brotfabrik, AUSLAND, and independent performance collectives across Berlin and the UK.
